To add new users in Utilities
Click Security on the Task Bar. The server security settings will be displayed.
Under Security, select one of the following security levels.

No security
This option allows unlimited access to the Corporate Compliance database. The Add, Change Password, Change Details and Delete buttons are disabled. The Users list is also disabled.
Security - automatic logon using windows logon name
This option allows limited access to the Corporate Compliance database and a user logon is not required. Upon opening Corporate Compliance, Corporate Compliance Utilities and Corporate Compliance Backup, the system will check the windows user logon against the list of users that can access the database. The Add, Change Details and Delete buttons are enabled. The Users list is also enabled. The Change Password button is disabled.
Security - user logon and password entry required
This option allows limited access to the Corporate Compliance database. User logon is required upon opening Corporate Compliance, Corporate Compliance Utilities and Corporate Compliance Backup. The Add, Change Password, Change Details and Delete buttons are enabled. The Users list is also enabled.
Click Apply.
Click Add. The Add User window opens.
Enter Logon name. The Logon name can have between 2 and 60 combinations of the following characters: a to z, A to Z, 0 to 9, space, ! # $ & ’ ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ % \ { | }.
The Logon name must be unique — it cannot be the same logon name as any other user in the database. Logon names are not case sensitive.
Enter Password (a maximum of 15 alphanumeric characters), if you have selected the Level 3 security option that requires a user logon.
Passwords are case sensitive and must have at least 6 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the password again in Confirm Password.
Select the Access level. When the access level User is selected, Allow user to access Corporate Compliance Backup is enabled, and selected by default. If the selected database has no administrator, the default option selected is Administrator. If there is an administrator, the default option selected is User.
Click OK. The new user is added to the Users list.
