Changing postal address file settings for people

Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin will be retired on 31 March 2024.
You won't be able to use either software after 31 March 2024. Learn what this means for you

The Change Postal Address File Setting screen allows you to exempt a selected person from the Postal Address File (PAF) check by ASIC.

The PAF setting applies to residential addresses only, not to postal addresses.

How to exempt an address from the PAF check
  1. Select and open the person. See Selecting people. The Details tab opens.
  2. Click Change postal address file setting on the Task Bar or right-click the Addresses screen and select Change postal address file setting from the menu. The Change Postal Address File Setting screen opens
  3. Select Residential address does not meet Postal Address File rules, and click OK. The line, “Residential address does not meet Postal Address File rules”, is added below the relevant address.

You can reverse this setting using the same steps above and then deselecting Residential address does not meet Postal Address File.
