How Corporate Compliance works with MYOB AE/AO
You won't be able to use either software after 31 March 2024. Learn what this means for you
Corporate Compliance integrates with MYOB AE/AO, so that one set of contacts is maintained, and the data that is common to these 2 applications is maintained once. Corporations and people used with the Corporate Compliance application are first added to MYOB AE/AO, and then brought across to Corporate Compliance. The core contact data is maintained only in MYOB AE/AO. This ensures that shared data is entered only once, and entered in the central location, which then makes it accessible to all the MYOB integrated applications, including Tax and Statutory Reporter.
For a contact that is an organisation, the data taken from MYOB AE/AO is:
Client code
Name
Business address
Registered address
Postal address
ABN
ACN.
For a contact that is a person, the data taken from MYOB AE/AO is:
Client code
Name
Home address
Postal address
Date of birth.
A corporation's name can be changed in Corporate Compliance, as the registered name may be longer that the field length allowed for in MYOB AE/AO, whereas people's names can only be changed in MYOB AE/AO.
