Pre-migration user acceptance testing (UAT)
This information is for users of our Hosted Compliance service.
This page lists user acceptance tests (UAT) you can do before moving your live data to the Hosted Compliance environment and cutting over to go live.

All of the Hosted Compliance UAT steps below can be performed with test data before migrating live data across. We would however recommend testing again once real data has been migrated across.
Logging in
Confirm that users can log in with their provided credentials and
that their username, password and display name are spelled correctly:https://myob-practice.comConfirm that the MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) application auto-loads and prompts the user for their credentials:
Confirm that the application launches after entering the correct credentials.
Navigation & Data Entry
Confirm that users are able to click on all buttons, tabs, menus and access all the same areas they can access in the live environment.
Confirm that users can enter all the data they need to, in all the places they need to and the changes save/update correctly and persists between sessions.
Viewing Attachments & In-App Documents
Confirm that the users can open and view all relevant attachments
Confirm that the users can open and view all in-app documents, such as PDFs that are displayed in web views or iFrame windows inside the app
Printing
Confirm that all of the relevant document types can be printed out and that they are sufficient quality, the correct colour, line up properly on the printed page, can be printed to the correct printer and printer tray, can be printing using the correct paper type and paper size.
Confirm that batch print jobs can be performed and they don't get stuck in the print queue.
Downloading Files
Confirm that all the necessary files can be downloaded from all the relevant locations in the application.
Uploading Files
Confirm that files can be uploaded to all the necessary locations in the application.
Emailing
Confirm that emails can be sent from all the necessary locations in the application and that they are received by the intended recipients and are not sent to their spam folder.
