Error syncing new Xero client data in Client Accounting

You’ll see an error if you use the Link with Xero connection option when syncing new Xero client data with Client Accounting.

The error message says:

“Sorry, something went wrong

Go back and try again.

If the issue continues, check out our Status Page.

Error code: 500.

Error: unauthorized_client : Invalid redirect_url”

This issue doesn’t affect syncing MYOB and QuickBooks files, and doesn’t affect any existing Xero client data that was previously synced.

Workaround

We’re working on a fix. In the meantime, add new data manually for Xero client files by importing their data via a CSV file.
