Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only
A quick way to create a new timesheet is to copy another. The idea is to select the sheet which closely matches how you want your new sheet to be.
You can only use this method for daily entry and periodic entry timesheets. For a Calendar entry timesheet, you must create a new timesheet (see Creating new timesheets).
You can also copy sheet data on behalf of another employee, if you have the authority.
Navigate to Employee page > Timesheets tab. See Finding and opening employee records.
From the drop-down on the top left-hand corner of the page, select Timesheet.
Click Copy timesheet on the TASKS bar.
You can also copy a timesheet by selecting Timesheet > Open > Copy Timesheet from the toolbar.
The Copy Sheet window opens.
Select the date of the sheet you want to copy data from on the Copy Sheet panel.
Select the date of the sheet that you want to copy the data to in the Create Sheet panel.
Click the Copy Total checkbox if you want to copy the values in addition to the details of the previous sheet to the new sheet.
Click Copy. A Copy Sheet message is displayed.
Click Close. The Copy Sheet window closes.
Click Refresh on the TASKS bar. The sheet is displayed in the appropriate table on the Employee page > Timesheets tab.
Make adjustments to the newly copied sheet.
