A document displays as a duplicate or multiple times in Document Manager

This support note applies to:

In MYOB when searching for a document in MYOB Document Manager (DM) using the Client - Documents tab, the search results appear to display duplicates or multiples of the document.

If you are experiencing:

  • only some documents duplicated and you're using Document Manager version 5.4.26, this may be due to an issue with indexing. We don't currently have a workaround for this issue, but we're looking into a solution.
  • all documents are duplicated, the client may have more than one open Partner assigned to them. To resolve this issue, you will need to ensure that only one open Partner is assigned to the client.

If you have multiple open partners, you'll need to put an end date to the previous partner and search for the client again to check.
