Activating compliance links in the task bar

This support note applies to:

  • AE Practice Manager (AU)
  • Profiles (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Practice Manager (AEPM), to enable access to the Compliance features such as Tax Returns, Account Ledgers and the Client Compliance window, it is necessary to add some configuration entries into the AEPM Configuration table to enable these options.

These options will be set up with the initial implementation of Compliance Integration but may need to be adjusted if the licensed modules or application path for Compliance changes.

To check Configuration settings in AEPM

Perform these steps in AEPM.

  1. Follow the menu path Maintenance > User Defined > Configuration. The Maintenance - Configuration page appears.
    The following options should be visible for the installed Compliance modules that you are licensed for.

    Key Names are case sensitive and the Key Value needs to have a value of 1 for the button or link to appear.

    You will need to exit completely from AEPM after making changes and log back in prior to launching Compliance modules.
