AE Accounts ledgers failing to migrate where a control account and its related sub accounts contain a balance

Since the release of Client Accounting version 5.4.27, you may experience an issue where AE Accounts ledgers fail to migrate to AE Ledger.

This issue affects AE Accounts ledgers where a control account and its related sub accounts, both contain a balance. As a result, the error "The ledger is out of balance. Please balance your ledger and then initiate the migration again" is returned on migration.

To successfully migrate the ledger, create a manual journal within the AE Accounts ledger to transfer the balance from the Control Account and into a sub account.

If you experience this error prior to installing AE version 5.4.27 or, when migrating a MAS or AO Classic GL, refer to Error: "The ledger is out of balance. Please balance your ledger and then initiate the migration again".

This has been an issue since version 5.4.27. To allow the migration to proceed, the migration tool should be moving the balance in the control account to a -00 sub account.
