AE Ledger file slow due to large chart of accounts

• AE Statutory Reporter (AU)

After migrating an AE Accounts ledger to AE ledger, you may experience slowness when using the Client Accounting modules where the ledger has a large chart of accounts and occurs even where a large portion of the accounts are unused.

If you're experiencing this issue, delete the unused accounts. You can do this in one of two ways:

• Click Launch AE Ledger on the Tasks bar of Client Accounting and follow the menu path Settings > Accounts List > Maintenance on the cashbook website. Select the unused accounts you want to delete then click Bulk Delete.
  
  

  

• If you haven't performed any work you can also delete the unused accounts in AE Accounts then re-migrate the ledger.
