Assigning a tax agent to a single tax return

  • AO Tax (AU)

  • AE Tax (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Office (AO) and Accountants Enterprise (AE) Classic Tax you may be required to assign a tax agent a tax return.  The instructions will step you through is process for a single tax return.

From within the tax return

  • Click the Return Properties icon on the toolbar. The Return Properties window appears.

  •  Click the Staff tab. The details of this tab appear. 

  • Click the ellipsis [...] button at the Agent field. The Select Agent window appears.

You will see the ellipses will be greyed out if the status of your tax return is Completed or Lodged.

  • Highlight the required agent and click Select. The Return Properties window appears.

  • Click OK. The return appears.
