ATO messaging

To continue lodging using MYOB AE/AO Lodgement Manager you don't need to set up MyGovID/RAM/Machine Credentials. Lodgement Manager is fully compliant with ATO systems and will continue working after 27 March 2020.

MyGovID/RAM/Machine Credentials are only required if you want to log into ATO online services after 27 March.

In MYOB Tax if you use AUSkey to lodge, you won't able to lodge after 27 March 2020 and you'll need to upgrade.

How do I know if I'm using AUSkey?

If you enter a password when lodging, you're using AUSkey.

How do I know if I need to upgrade?
  • If you use AUSkey Authentication to lodge.
  • If you access your tax returns or activity statements via System Release, and lodge from Lodgment > Electronic > Tag for lodgment.
This includes if you have a non-SQL database or a second database.

How can I upgrade?

Talk to your client manager about how you can upgrade your practice.
