This support note applies to:
- AO Practice Manager (NZ)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) or Accountants Office (AO) you may find a user is not able to preview a report under Reports > Favourites but may have the ability to preview same report under the Reports icon.
To resolve this issue, you need to refresh the Task Permissions.
- Follow the menu path: Maintenance > Maintenance Map >Security > Task Permissions. The Task Permissions screen appears.
- Select either Central or Practice Manager at the Product field (the product you select will depend on where they are running the report from).
Expand [+] Smart Reports and untick the box under Allow on the relevant report, click OK and then File > Exit to save changes.
- There are also reports under Other within the Practice Manager product and also under Other within the Central product.
- For Tax reports select Tax at the Product field and untick the box under Allow for the relevant year report category.
Log back in and follow the menu path: Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Security > Task Permissions and re-tick the Allow box for the relevant report, click OK then File > Exit to save changes.
Ensure the employee exits out for the change to take affect
