Changing an incorrect Assignment type

  • AE Practice Manager (NZ)
  • AE Practice Manager (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Practice Manager (PM), you may find that a client\assignment has an incorrect Assignment Type displaying when running reports.

To resolve this issue, change the Assignment Type to reflect the correct assignment type.

You may need to first Assignment types with the appropriate settings.
To change assignment types
  1. In AE PM go to Maintenance > Assignment > Change Assignment Type.
  2. In the Find Assignment field, select the client or assignment.
  3. From the list of Available Assignment Types, select the relevant assignment type.

    You will only see assignments of the same type. If the assignment type is chargeable then only chargeable assignment types appear in the list of available assignment types.
  4. Click Change. The message "Assignment type successfully changed" appears.
  5. Click Close.
