Changing Partners Mailing name

This support note applies to:

  • AO Practice Manager (NZ)

In MYOB AE Practice Manager when using the merge field - PartnerMailingName in a letter, the full name of the Partner shows instead of the Mailing Name.
For eg., the letter shows Mr R J Bloggs instead of Rex Bloggs.

This issue can occur when there is no Mailing name entered in the Employee record.

To change the mailing name
  1.  Login to MYOB AE.
  2. Click the arrow below the Contacts icon > Employees.
  3. Click Search to bring up the employee list and double click to open the employee record.
  4. From the left hand side, under the Employee click Edit Employee Details.
  5. Enter the details in the Mailing Name field.
