The Client name that appears on a fee invoice and debtor statement on MYOB Practice Manager (MYOB PM) is the Mailing name for the client. The structure of the Mailing Name is based on an algorithm setup under Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Documents > Mailing Settings.
The Mailing name can be updated for an individual client or it can be reset for all clients.
If you have amended a number of client's Mailing names to be different to their legal name, you could create a report under Reports > Client > Client List and include the Client code, Client name and Mailing name to see how many names have been customised/changed before considering using the bulk update to reset all clients. See KB 35735: Creating and formatting reports in AE/AO
To setup the Mailing name configuration
In MYOB PM, follow the menu path Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Documents > Mailing Settings. The Mailing Settings page appears.
