Copying an asset schedule from one client to another in AO GL

• AO Classic General Ledger (AU)
• AO Classic (NZ)

In MYOB Accountants Office Classic you may want to use a master template asset schedule in an existing General Ledger client.

The usual procedure is to add the asset schedule template when the client is originally created.

This will overwrite the current asset schedule in the destination ledger

To copy an asset schedule from another GL client you will need to copy all files beginning with dep (dep*.*) from the master template client (eg for a sole trader template the template folder will be 1Sole) and copy them to the destination client folder.

Use Windows Explorer to do this. You can find out the client folder names by pressing F9 on the Select General Ledger window.
