Deleting a completed document

In MYOB Document Manager you have the ability to delete a completed document provided that you have the required security setting enabled.

Deleting a completed document

Refer to Deleting documents, and If you are still unable to delete the document, use the following instructions to check your security rights to delete a completed document.

Checking my security rights to delete completed documents

To delete a completed document you need to ensure that you have enabled this security feature which is controlled by the Filing Cabinet security.

To perform the following, you must have Document Manager administration rights.

To check security rights
  1. Know which Filing Cabinet the document you want to delete is profiled to.
  2. Know which Security Group the employee belongs to.
    This can be checked by opening the Employee Record and select the Security Group tab.
  3. Follow the menu path Maintenance > Maintenance Maps > Documents > Document Manager Setup > Filing Cabinet tab. The security group/s now display those groups that have the right to delete a document in a particular Filing Cabinet.
    Only employees belonging to the User Security Group, (i.e. have the delete box ticked) have the security rights to delete completed documents.
