In MYOB Accountants Office (AO) you may be uncertain as to whether the Practice Manager (PM) module is currently used.

This Knowledge Base article will ascertain whether you are running MYOB AO or MYOB AO PM.

To determine whether you are using MYOB AO or MYOB AO PM, use one of the following methods:

Checking within MYOB AO
  1. Double click on MYOB AO icon on your desktop. The login window appears.
  2. Enter in your MYOB AO login details and press login. The MYOB AO homepage is displayed.

If you can see Timesheet, Billing, Debtors and Jobs icons on the top then you are running MYOB AO PM. If these are not present, you are running MYOB AO without the Practice Manager module.  If you would like to use the Practice Manager module within AO, please contact your MYOB Client Manager.
Checking the registration file
  • On the server machine, press the Start button. The Start menu or Metro screen appears.
  • Type Registration and press Enter. The Registration MYOB Product window appears.

If you can see Practice Manager under the list of products already registered, you are running MYOB AO PM. If Practice Manager is not present, you are running MYOB AO without the Practice Manager module.  If you would like to use the Practice Manager module within AO, please contact your MYOB Client Manager.
