In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Reporter (AE Reporter), the Partnership Distribution may not display in the Profit and Loss Appropriation Statement for a Partnership in an AE MAS ledger.
To insert the Partnership Distribution for the Profit and Loss Appropriation Statement format:
- copy the Beneficiary Distribution formula from a Trust Ledger's Profit and Loss Appropriation Statement
- paste to a Partnership ledger and
- make the appropriate changes.
To insert the Partnership Distribution for the Profit and Loss Appropriation Statement format
- In a Trust Ledger, go to Reports > Reporter > Design Practice Reports. The Practice - Report Designer window appears displaying all reports available in the left-hand pane.
- Click the Formats tab. The Exploring Formats window appears with the available formats displayed in the left-hand pane.
- Double-click the Profit and Loss Appropriation Statement format. The format is displayed in the right-hand pane.
- Click and drag to select row 14 to 16.
- Right-click and copy Copy.
- Click Close.
- In a Partnership Ledger, go to Reports > Reporter > Design Practice Reports. The Practice - Report Designer window appears displaying all reports available in the left-hand pane.
- Click the Formats tab. The Exploring Formats window appears with the available formats displayed in the left-hand pane.
- Double-click the Profit and Loss Appropriation Statement format. The format is displayed in the right-hand pane.
- Right-click on row 7 and choose Paste.
- Click in cell A7. The cell has the formula {IF(DB.#EntityDetails.ClientDetails.Entity="TrustBeneficiariesUnitholders")} distribution.
- Enter {IF(DB.#EntityDetails.ClientDetails.Entity="PartnershipPartner'sProprietor's")} distribution and press Enter on your keyboard.
- Click Save. The format is saved at practice level.
- Click Close.
