Document links not opening after a server migration or when your DM File Store is moved

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) version 4.0.4.499, the following error appears when trying to open links to documents in DM after having performed a server migration or moving your DM File Store to another server.

Example:

The file store location is not matched.
Expected: SERVER01
Actual: SERVER2

This occurs because the document links created within DM 4.04 does not update to include the new server name. Linked documents within DM created under previous versions of DM will continue to operate successfully.

MYOB addressed this issue in Document Manager, version 4.04 Hotfix (released on 2/11/2012 for AE users and 13/11/2012 for AO users)
