Editing of report not prompting to save changes

This support note applies to:

• AO Practice Manager (NZ)
• AO Practice Manager (AU)
• AE Practice Manager (NZ)
• AE Practice Manager (AU)

In MYOB Practice Manager (PM) when editing a report in the Edit Layout or Design screen of a report in PM, the system may not prompt you to save the changes made when closing the report.

To save your changes in the Report Designer, ensure you do not click the Preview tab in the design layout of the report before closing to save changes. Close and Save the layout changes and then Save the report and then preview it. 

Alternatively after clicking the Preview tab, to ensure your changes are saved, edit the report again.  For example, a change to the heading will prompt to save your changes when closing.
