Emailing a copy of a Tax Return

In MYOB Tax, to email a PDF copy of a tax return to a client you'll need to run the Tax Office Copy PDF wizard from the Reports menu within the tax return.. This allows you to save, email and preview Tax Office copies of a tax return.

Before you begin

  • Ensure that your email application is open and you are logged in.

To email a PDF copy of the return
  1. Open the tax return you want to send and from the Reports menu, select Tax Office Copy PDF.

  2. Deselect Save a PDF file to disk and Preview Tax Office Copy options. Ensure the option Generate a PDF and attach it to an email is selected, then click Next.

  3. Complete the Recipient email address and the Subject line and select the Encrypt the PDF attachment option. Then click Next.

  4. Click Finish.

The PDF is generated; a new email is created in your email application, with the recipient set to that entered in the wizard. The PDF is automatically attached to the email.
