In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) or Accountants Office (AO) you may experience that the entity type in AE/AO Tax changes to Individual after importing a tax return.
This issue occurs when the option "Include client details" is selected when exporting your clients tax return. In selecting this option some of the clients information is copied into the EXPORT.CDS file. Simply deselect this option when creating the export.
Likewise if you are re-importing a tax return received from MYOB Support ensure that you have saved all of the attached files in the your export pathfile. This is where MYOB will search for the file to import back into your database.
Then when importing these tax returns back into the system, ensure that you do not include the EXPORT.CDS file. This file can be renamed or removed from your export location. Only import the EXPORT file.
