Error "2147220991 S6prps 91: Object variable or with block variable not set. Active X component cannot create object run time error 429" when accessing Reporter

This support note applies to:

• AE Reporter (NZ)
• AE Reporter (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Reporter (AE Reporter) you may experience the error "Environment error 2147220991" with details "Stack linkm main link.m s6prps 91: object variable or with block variable not set. ActiveX component cannot create object runtime error 429" when launching Reporter.   

This is due to the access available to areas on the machine which Reporter requires to run.

To run successfully, AE Reporter requires full permissions to the following locations:

• C:\program files\solution6\reporter or C:\program files\MYOB\reporter;
• C:\windows\temp or C:\winnt\temp.

To resolve this error

Ensure all users have full read/write permissions to these directories on the workstations using AE Reporter.  If you need assistance contact your IT Consultant.
