Error: "Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ExecutionFailureException. An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException". A nonrecoverable I/O error occurred on file "C:\ProgramData\MYOB\AEAO\AF\BackupTemp\SERVER2008_VPMSER_20180107\Tax\Database\Tax_Database_Backup_20180107.bak:" 112 (There is not enough space on the disk)" when performing a scheduled backup.
You will see this error if the C:\ does not have enough disk space since a scheduled backup temporarily creates a file on the C:\ before it is copied to the specified drive.
For the backup to complete successfully, free up some disk space in the C:\ drive. Minimum of 10GB to 20GB (depending on the size your SQL Tax and/ VPMSER database).
Even though you might have configured your backups to be stored on another drive, the backup uses the C: drive for temporary storage while the backup archive is built
