Error: "Excel Conversion: cells.item (row.column) missing error - 800 a03ec" using the Print to File option

In MYOB Management Accounting System (MAS) when selecting the Print to File option you may experience the error "Excel Conversion: cells.item (row.column) missing error - 800 a03ec". 

For example, when exporting a Trial Balance to Excel, the error is displayed and a blank Excel worksheet appears.

This occurs on the following Windows operating systems:

• Windows 8 and 8.1
• Windows 10
• Server 2012
• Server 2016
• Server 2019

To successfully export and access a report in Excel, when using the Print to File export, save the file using the extension .txt.

 In Excel open the .txt file that is created. In the Text Import Wizard in Excel select Fixed Width. On the Data Preview step of the Text Import Wizard add the required column break lines.
