Error: "Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A175D"

This support note applies to:

This issue can occur if you have not amended the sample Debtor Statement template before emailing the Debtor Statements.

  To resolve this error in Practice Manager and to ensure that the template works with your version of Microsoft Office, open the template in Windows Explorer and update the template with your Practice Details and save the template changes.

 

To check the Template location
  1. Follow the menu path: Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Documents > Mailing Settings. The Mailing Settings page appears.

  2. Note the location of the Templates Path

  3. Browse to the location noted above and and check whether the user can see the files in this location and right-click and click Open to open the statement templates.  Where the user can't access this location, please contact your IT support to review/update the security settings to this folder location.

  4. Edit the template and save the changes.

You may see the following message when opening the template, click No if it displays.
