In MYOB Practice Manager, you may see the error "Failed to update responsibility details" when attempting to update the partner responsibility details in bulk via Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Internal > Responsibility Update.
This occurs when you are reallocating clients assigned from the system generated UNSPEC partner to another partner.
The resolution is to manually update the partner on the Responsibility tab of each client.
