Error message using Email feature in PDF Manager

This support note applies to:

• PDF Manager (AU)
• PDF Manager (NZ)

In MYOB PDF Manager you may experience the following error when using the email function in the PDF Manager:

"S6EMAI~1.EXE - Machine Type Mismatch
The image file C:\Program Files\Common Files\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033\MSMAPI32.DLL is valid, but is for a machine type other than the current machine.  Select OK to continue, or CANCEL to fail the DLL load",

followed by "Utility has stopped working. Application name: s6Emailer.exe"

This error occurs when using the File > Email or Email feature in the PDF Tasks section of the task bar and where the version of Microsoft Office installed is 64-bit.

This is not an issue for sites using Office 32-bit.

The current workaround is to save the PDF document to the desktop and then right click > Send to > Mail recipient.

Sites using MYOB Document Manager can also save the PDF file to Document Manager and create and send the email in Document Manager.

Alternatively, downgrade your version of your Office to 32bit.
