Error: "System.AggregateException" after configuring online data

This support note applies to:

  • AO Assets Live (AU)
  • AE Assets Live (AU)

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Assets Live, you may experience the error "System.AggregateException" after configuring the online data.

When you attempt to access the Assets tab, you are requested to setup your online data and services. You may then be prompted to configure your Practice my.MYOB settings and employee my.myob details. Once this information has been provided, MYOB Assets Live displays a progress bar while your online data and services are configured. If this process fails, you receive a 'System.AggregateException' error.

To resolve this error
  1. Close MYOB Accountants Enterprise.
  2. Launch your default browser and open a website (for example, www.google.com). If the website does not open successfully, review your internet connection settings and establish a successful connection prior to continuing.

  3. Log into MYOB Accountant Enterprise, select a client and open Client Accounting > Assets tab to recommence the configuration process.
