In MYOB Practice Manager (PM) you when performing a backup in PM you may experience the error:
"System.Data.SqlClient.SqlExceptionTimeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.The backup or restore was aborted."
This error is caused by the PM backup service timing out due to a combination of a large database size and poor server performance.
MYOB has resolved this issue in a previous release but if you are still experiencing this issue, please contact support. In the meantime, please implement the backup scripts defined in Configuring SQL Backup scripts.
