In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Practice Manager (AE PM) you may receive the error "Timesheet Invalid Selection - Unable to Load Client Information" when selecting the Create Timesheet Entry link from the task bar in a client page.  This may occur on some clients and not others.

To resolve this error where it occurs to all clients, remove any End Date on the employee record within Employee > Main tab, close and re-open AE PM and then access the same area to confirm the error no longer appears.

To resolve this error where it occurs to random clients, there maybe only one assignment attached to the client in question.  If the client has multiple assignments, you would be able to create a time sheet entry without error, but the affected assignment will not be available in the drop-down list of client assignments

In addition, if you were to attempt to access your time sheet directly and attempt to select that client/assignment, the client assignment would not show up when searching for it.

The issue is caused by having the Task Related checkbox selected (ticked) when the affected assignment does not have a schedule.

To remove this
  • On the Client page > Assignment tab, click the link in the Name column for the affected assignment. The Assignment Details page appears.
  • Select the Schedule tab, and un-tick the Task related box, then click OK to save the changes.

The assignment should now be available in the time sheet entry screen.

The error should no longer appear for clients with a single assignment when clicking the Create Timesheet Entry link from the Task bar when in a client page.
