Error: "UIHelper Classes - Feenote: Call was rejected by callee"

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Practice Manager (PM) you may receive the error "UIHelper Classes - Feenote: Call was rejected by callee (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010001 (RPC_E_CALL_REJECTED)" when previewing bills.

To resolve this error
  1. Reboot the workstation or the server if you are accessing PM via a terminal server.

  2. If the error continues to persist, check whether there is an initial window when you select the Preview or Print option, ie. you may see a Microsoft Office Word window with the message "The margins of the section are outside the printable area of the page.  Do you wish to continue".

    If this is the case, at this point Word is waiting for a response and will give a HRESULT error if the message is ignored and the user selects the Preview or Print option again. You should answer Yes if you see this message to preview or print the bill successfully but at some point you will need to adjust the margins on the template, save the changes and test on a new invoice.
    To print a draft bill, select the Billing > Draft Bills menu, highlight the bill and then select Print from the Task panel.

  3. If you are using Word 2013 or Word 2016, ensure that Word is opened first and then test previewing the bill. Leave Word open in the background before previewing any additional bills during the day.
