Error: "Unauthorised access" in the MYOB Event Log when lodging via PLS

This support note applies to:

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) and Accountants Office (AO) Tax version 2017.0, when lodging via PLS, the MYOB Tax SBR Sender service may stop and get stuck when transmitting or transmitted. When this happens, the error "unauthorised access" is displayed in the MYOB Event Log.

This happens because the user's login isn't authenticated correctly against my.MYOB.

To fix the unauthorised access error
  1. Remove the my.MYOB login from the affected user's Employee Details, and save the changes.
  2. Reenter the user's my.MYOB login details.
