Error: "User does not have sufficient permission within SQL" when installing AO

When installing MYOB Accountants Office (AO) you may experience the error "User does not have sufficient permission within SQL".

This error can occur when installing MYOB AO for the first time or during an update of the MYOB AO software, when the SQL service for the MYOBACCT instance has stopped.

To complete the installation or update, start the SQL service for the MYOBACCT instance.

To start the SQL Server service

Click start, type services.msc and press ENTER. The services window appears.
Right-click the SQL Server (MYOBACCT) service and select Start. The SQL Server service has started.
Proceed with the MYOB AO installation.
