Error: "VPM Integration is not enabled" when launching Run CDS VizPost

When launching the Run CDS VizPost process you may experience the error message "VPM Integration is not enabled" and the VPM background process screen does not open.

This error message occurs if there is an invalid setting in the Central Database (CDS) integration setting for MYOB Practice Manager.

How to update the CDS integration setting

Perform the following in the DATABASE ledger.

  1. From the Utilities menu, select Control Record. The Control Properties screen appears.
  2. Click the Integration tab. The Integration settings appear.
  3. Select VPM in the Practice Management section and click OK. The message "Change will take affect on next startup" appears.


    If you have AE Tax and Accounts or FBT, select Profiles and VPM at step 3.

  4. Click OK and exit the DATABASE ledger. The change to the integration setting is complete.
  5. Restart the Background process. The integration process runs correctly.
