Error: "Write error: tran_code_index not added "Hit E to Confirm Error" when opening accounting ledgers

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Accounts (AE Accounts) you may experience the error "Write error: tran_code_index not added" when opening an Accounts Ledger via Tools > Accounts > Open Accounting Ledger in Contacts.

This error can occur when the ledger has a version of 27, instead of 29.

Accounting ledgers with version 27 or less require the addition of an index table. This can only be performed by the system during conversion of a ledger in a recognised database environment.

To resolve this error, highlight the relevant contact on the Contacts list and open the ledger using the DR/CR icon on the toolbar. This will enable the database conversion.
