Export PDFs directly from Document Manager to your watchfolder

With PDF Manager 1.7 you can export PDF's from MYOB Document Manager direct to your PDF Manager watchfolder. These will then automatically appear in PDF Manager.

When you use the watchfolder or the import option in PDF Manager you also get the ability to import bookmarks, and the add bonus of Optical Character Recognition (OCR), depending on the makeup of the original PDF.

If you setup watchfolder locations in MYOB Document Manager for your employees, they can right click on PDF documents and select Export and Ok. This will mean the document will appear in PDF Manager after a period of time or by clicking Get Documents from Watchfolder in the Task menu.

You can also export multiple PDF documents by selecting them in MYOB Document Manager and clicking on Export under the Multi Document option in the Task menu.

To set up employees export location

Perform the following steps in AE/AO:

Open the Employee> Document Settings tab.
Select Document Export Location > Employee set location
Type in the location of the watchfolder. This can be a network drive location or local to your workstation, but must be unique to this employee.
