Feenote: The Add method or property is not available because the license to use this application has expired

This support note applies to:

• AO Practice Manager (NZ)
• AO Practice Manager (AU)
• AE Practice Manager (NZ)
• AE Practice Manager (AU)

In MYOB AE Practice Manager, you may experience the following error when previewing bills:

"Feenote: The Add method or property is not available because the license to use this application has expired".

This error generally appears where there is an issue with Microsoft Word licence.

For example, if you're also receiving messages in regards to a Trial version when opening Word, you may not be properly licensed for Word.

To resolve this issue:

• Close Word and check the Details tab in Windows Task Manager to see if a Word process is still running. End this process and preview the bill again.
• Check your Microsoft Office license.
• Run a repair of Microsoft Office.

While we can help you with your MYOB software, we're no experts when it comes to Microsoft Office. We recommend speaking to your IT provider for advice on installing and licensing Microsoft Office.
