Finding out your Integration type between MYOB AE and AE Tax

This support note applies to:

  • Profiles (AU)
  • AE Tax Series 6 & 8 (AU)

In MYOB if you encounter integration issues between Accountants Enterprise Practice Manager (AEPM) and Accountants Enterprise (AE) Tax, prior to troubleshooting this issue you need to know what type of integration is being used.

Identifying the integration type

Refer to the following table which details the integration type based on the application as well as the version.

  • When you open AE Practice Manager, you do not have Client Compliance in the Tasks panel.

  • When you open AE Practice Manager, you do not have Client Compliance in the Tasks panel. 

No Client Compliance

Version = x.x.xxx
No "Plus" in the version

  • Use Contacts or Profiles; or
  • When you open AE Practice Manager, you have Client Compliance in the Tasks panel.
