How do I allocate existing assets to a Pool?

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Assets (AE Assets) you can allocate existing assets to the following Pool types:

  1. Low Value Pool.

  2. Small Business Pool.

 

How to allocate assets to a Pool

To allocate assets to the Low Value Pool or Small Business Pool, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the AE Assets ledger. The main Assets screen appears showing the asset control groups in the left hand pane.

  2. From the Functions menu, select from the following options:

    • Allocate Assets to Low Value Pool or

    • Allocate Assets to Small Business Pool.

    The Allocate Assets to Small Business Pool/Low Value Pool window appears with all relevant assets toggled with a tick next to the Asset code.

  3. Confirm the assets which you require to be added to the Pool are toggled and click Allocate. The assets are allocated to the Pool and the main Assets screen appears.
