Installing AE Tax Reports (Series 6 & 8)

MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Tax provides Tax Reports, a reporting tool which is an optional component that allows reporting directly from an AE Tax SQL database.
The Tax Reports installer for the current year also includes reports for prior years from 2005 onwards (provided that you have the prior year tax ledgers installed) and is a separate installer from the Tax release.
The Smart Reports installer needs to be run after the installation of the latest tax release (Series 8.3X/6.4X).
To download the reports, log into my.myob Australia and from the My Products menu, choose Downloads then select the product MYOB AE Tax Series 6 or 8.
- Start the installation of MYOB AE Series 8.2X/6.4X. The Installation Welcome window opens.
- Click Other Software from the left panel. The Other Software options appear.
- Click the relevant option. The installation wizard opens.
Continue through the wizard to complete the installation. The installation is complete.
MYOB INTERNAL STAFF ONLY
From Tax 2015 onwards only AE Series 8/6 client needs to manually install Tax reports.
Combined installer installs the reports for AE Tax and AO Tax clients.
