In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) or Accountants Office (AO) Live when clicking on the Accounting tab to open the Accounting Dashboard the following message may display "No businesses found".

To resolve this and have the businesses display for this user you will need to go through the process to update the online access to your company files and this is done from the my.MYOB website.

The following instructions will step you through this process.

Managing Online Access to your Company Files

Please ensure that a person who is an Administrator in this website will need to perform the following instructions.

  1. Log into the my.MYOB.com website.
  2. Follow the menu path: My Account > Manage Online File Access.
  3. Select the Company file that you will be giving access to.
  4. Then select the employee that will be accessing this company file online.
  5. Click Update.
The employee is now granted access to view the nominated company file online.

The employee will now be able to log into the Practice Portal and view the company files from within the Accounting Dashboard.
