No option to Post WIP in Assignment tab or Bill Wizard

This support note applies to:

• AE Practice Manager (NZ)
• AE Practice Manager (AU)

Timesheet Authorisation modes enable practices to configure AE Practice Manager (AE PM) to best suit their business needs. These modes are configured under Maintenance > Time Setup > Timesheet Authorisation Mode and are used to control how timesheet entries are made available for billing purposes to deliver the most efficient billing of time to clients.

If your Practice uses Project Based Authorisation, this will allow specific employees to post WIP via the Client > Assignment tab and also via Stage Two of the Billing Wizard.

Post WIP Responsibility is used in conjunction with Project Based Authorisation to allow specific Responsibility Types to have the ability to post this wip.

To confirm which Responsibility Types do have this access, select Maintenance > Internal > Responsibility Types and note which Responsibility Types are flagged to post WIP.

If employees do not have this option available to them and they should have this function, check to ensure that the employee is listed on the Client's Responsibility tab and has the relevant Responsibility Type listed under the Responsibility column.
