Note and Comments applied to PDF documents not appearing

This support note applies to:

• PDF Manager (AU)
• PDF Manager (NZ)

Documents with Notes and/or Comments that have been added using the Markup tab in PDF manager, then saved to Document Manager, don't appear when the document is printed back to PDF Manager or Document Manager.

This is a limitation of the "post script" printing file used by printers. When a PDF file is sent to a printer, comments and notes are excluded.

As PDF Manager is also recognised as a 'printer', the notes and comments added using the Markup tab are also excluded.

If you want to add new or edit existing notes or comments, you can work around this limitation by saving the document to the desktop of your PC, then importing the document back into PDF Manager.
