Opening MAS Reporter with correct Entity Type reports

When using MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Reporter for a Management Accounting System (MAS) ledger, the reports that appear may be for an incorrect Entity Type. For example, the MAS ledger may be a company, but reports may be for a trust.

To show the correct reports, change the Entity Type in MAS for Reporter.

To change the Entity Type in MAS for Reporter

  1. Open the MAS ledger and go to Utilities > Support Routines.
    A message appears: These routines should only be run under the supervision of Support.

  2. Click OK.
    The Special Routines menu appears.

  3. Select option 11. Change Entity Type.
    The Change Entity Type window appears.

  4. Enter an Entity Type and click OK.
    The Special Routines menu appears.

  5. Press Esc on your keyboard. The MAS ledger appears.

  6. If, after the correct reports appear, the Balance Sheet doesn't balance, review and amend the profit setup. For details, see Changing the Entity Type in MAS.
