PowerPoint documents are left in checked out location after checking in

This support note applies to:

• AO Document Manager (AU)
• AO Document Manager (NZ)
• AE Document Manager (NZ)
• AE Document Manager (AU)

In MYOB Document Manager (DM) version 4.0.5 and above, when you open and close an 'In Progress' Microsoft PowerPoint document from Document Manager, the file is left in the checked out folder. Then when you next open the file, the name changes slightly in PowerPoint (Example: 123_1) and you may experience that your changes have been lost.

To resolve this issue, instead of closing the PowerPoint document using the cross located in the top right corner, you will need to click on the Document Manager tab and then click Check-In. Select to either create a new file or overwrite the original file and then click ok.
