At times, it may be required to refresh client details in Accountants Enterprise (AE) Practice Manager for integration purposes.
Making a name change to the client performs the same function as running an individual client resync. It alerts the integration processes to the fact that a change has been made to the client, and this change needs to be pushed through. Follow the process below to refresh your client details:
- Open the client. The Main tab appears.
Click Edit client details in the Task panel. The Amend Client Name screen appears.
If the client is an Organisation, type test at the end of the client name in the Main field and click OK.If the client is a Person, type test at the end of the client name in the Last field and click OK. The changes are saved.
- Repeat step 2, remove the changes made at step 3 and click OK. The changes are saved.
Once this has been completed, check the details have integrated through to your compliance modules by opening the required module, for example AE Tax and checking the details for the client that display.
