Reinstating a former contact

This support note applies to:

  • Profiles (AU)
  • AE Tax Series 6 & 8 (AU)

A contact that has been previously marked as a former contact can be reopened so that tax returns and account ledgers can be created, Timecost data can then be entered and documents can be saved to the contact.

To reinstate a former contact
  1. In the Contacts window, select the option Include former contacts at the bottom of the list. Former contacts appear in the list.
  2. Select the contact to be reinstated.
  3. From the File menu, select Properties. The Contact Properties window appears.
  4. Deselect the option Former Contact.
  5. Click OK.
